Transport Direct

Whether travelling by train, plane, coach or car, transport direct helps you plan your route. By entering your origin, destination, time and mode of travel the site provides the route for you. The route can be displayed on a map or table. It informs you of the distance, duration and cost of your journey.

Transport Direct provides locations of car parks, train or bus stations, airports and maps to indicate their location.

The site also tells you of any live updates which may affect your journey, to enable you to change your route or mode if necessary.

Cycling

There are currently no national cycle routes in the vicinity of Langage Business Park. However, a new, off road cycle route is planned along Sandy Lane and a new cycle lane between Chaddlewood Roundabout and Glen Road is proposed to link the cycle lane on Hillcrest Drive.

Cycling is an easier, cheaper way of getting to and from work, especially in rush hour. Cycling is also an effective way of keeping fit and healthy.

Car sharing

Car sharing can offer the convenience of using a car but still contribute to reduced congestion and emissions. Caresharedevon has been set up in partnership by Devon County Council, Plymouth City Council and Torbay Council

There are currently over 200 people registered with Car share Devon within Plymouth, which has meant that 9 tonnes of carbon dioxide have not been released into the atmosphere and over at least 100 cars have been taken of our roads.
